Page Authority
A metric predicting how well a specific page will rank in search engine results.
Definition
Page Authority (PA) is a score developed by Moz that predicts how well a specific page is likely to rank on search engine result pages (SERPs). It ranges from 1 to 100, with higher scores indicating greater ranking potential. PA is calculated using multiple factors including link counts, MozRank, MozTrust, and dozens of other signals. While not a Google ranking factor itself, PA correlates with ranking performance. Internal linking plays a key role in distributing page authority throughout your site, allowing high-authority pages to pass value to other important pages.
